Psychology 101 tells us our thoughts leads to our feelings, our feelings lead to our behaviour. 

We have a thought that we are a failure with our eating/weight > this leads to a feeling of feeling helpless, ashamed or disappointed > behav - lead to more eating.

We get stuck in a v1.0 cycle.  Same thinking gets the same results. 

V2.0 thinking can get v2.0 outcomes, because when we choose an empowering thought we feel more empowered and we typically make empowered choices with our eating.
